In the summer of 2017 I started a photographic experiment in which I photograph myself. The experiment now consists of two series: covered and uncovered body. These portraits are about overcoming shame to be a woman and about me as a shape in space. Although this research originated from a personal urge, I have also noticed that I touch a collective chord with this. The theme is in the air and it is currently philosophically and socially one of the most important questions in our society: to what extent is the woman an individual, universal person?
